My building has a small lift. Does that change the price?
It can, and we would rather tell you before you book. Send a photo of the lift with the door open. If a mattress or a wardrobe will not go in, that part comes down the stairs and we add the crew for it as its own line rather than discovering it on the day.
Only I am moving out of a shared flat. Can you do that?
Yes, and it is the most common booking we take in Phase 1. We label your items, load only those and leave your flatmates undisturbed. The price follows the crew hours and the vehicle rather than the size of the flat you are leaving.
What time should we start?
Seven in the morning if you can. The lanes around Shivaji Chowk fill up by nine and a truck standing there blocks people, which is uncomfortable for everyone and slows your own move down.
How is Phase 1 different from Phase 2 and 3 for a move?
The buildings are older and the lifts are smaller, so more of the load goes down the stairs. In exchange the truck can usually park at your door, which the big townships in Phase 3 do not allow.
