Airline baggage limits and train luggage rules make it hard to carry everything when you move. Paying for extra baggage is costly, and dragging heavy suitcases through stations is harder still.
With luggage shifting, your bags and cartons travel on a truck that is already going your way, along with other consignments, so you pay for the space your pieces take rather than for a whole vehicle. It travels in a closed truck, and we pick up and deliver in every district in India, with no depot to visit at either end.
Sending furniture or large appliances such as a fridge or washing machine? Our door-to-door delivery service is built for bigger items, and a bike can come along on its own carrier.

Packing
How to pack luggage for the road
On a truck, luggage is stacked with other consignments and handled at loading and unloading. Six habits help it arrive intact.
If you would rather not pack at all, we bring cartons, bubble wrap and stretch film to the pickup and do it there. Material is charged for what is used, and the quote shows it.

Use hard cases or strong cartons
Hard suitcases and double-wall cartons survive stacking far better than soft bags.

Do not overfill
Overfilled bags split at the seams. Leave a little room in every piece.

Lock and label
Lock suitcases and label every piece with your name, phone and the delivery address.

Seal liquids
Put toiletries and anything liquid in sealed plastic bags so a leak cannot spoil the clothes.

Keep a list
Note what is in each piece. It helps at delivery and is what any claim is checked against.

Keep valuables with you
Documents, laptops, jewellery and cash travel in your hand baggage, never in the consignment.
Safety
What travels safely, and what should stay with you
Every piece is on a signed list, so the count at delivery can be checked against the count at pickup. A few things should never be in the consignment at all.

Knowing where your luggage is
The consignment number you get at pickup identifies your luggage from the moment it leaves your door. Our team can tell you where it is on the way and when it is due.
The pickup is arranged by the office nearest to you: our head office in Pune or one of our 14 branch offices. The branches page shows which office covers your city and how to reach it.

What decides the price of sending luggage
Luggage is priced on what you send and where it goes. These are the details we ask for.

Number of pieces
Each bag or carton takes its own space on the truck, so five pieces cost more than two.
- 02
Size and weight
Heavy trunks and large suitcases cost more than the same number of light cartons.
- 03
Distance
The road distance between the two addresses sets the starting price.
- 04
Packing
Loose things packed into our cartons add material. Locked suitcases that are ready to go need nothing extra.

Access at both ends
Hostels, PGs and upper floors without a lift add carrying time at pickup or delivery. Towns away from the main highways can add distance.

Insurance

How much does it cost to send luggage to another city?
It depends on the number of pieces, their size and weight, and the distance. Tell us how many bags and cartons you have, roughly how heavy they are and both addresses, and we send a written quote for the consignment.
Is luggage shifting cheaper than excess baggage?
For several heavy bags it can be, because your bags travel as part of a shared load and you pay for the space they take. Compare our written quote with your airline's charge for the same weight. For one light extra bag on a flight you are already taking, excess baggage is usually simpler.
How long does luggage take to arrive?
It depends on the road distance and on when a truck is going your way. Tell us your travel date and we plan the pickup so the luggage reaches you around the time you arrive. The delivery window for your route is written in your quote.
Can you deliver to a hostel, PG or office?
Yes. Give us the full address and the name and number of someone who can receive the luggage. Some hostels only allow deliveries at set hours, so mention that when you book.
What can I not send?
Cash, jewellery, important documents and laptops should stay with you. We do not carry anything flammable, such as gas cylinders, fuel or paint, or perishable food and liquids that can leak.
How do I know where my luggage is?
You get a consignment number when it is picked up. Enter it on our tracking page, or send it to us on WhatsApp or by phone, and our team tells you where the consignment is.
Can someone else hand over or receive the luggage?
Yes. Give us the name and number of the person at each end. They check the pieces against the list at pickup and again at delivery before signing.
Is my luggage insured?
Transit insurance is optional and is worked out on the value you declare. If you take it, keep the list of what is in each piece, because a claim is checked against it.
