No spam. We only call you about your move.
A lot of damage in a move comes from weak cartons and rushed packing. We use double-wall cartons, bubble wrap, foam, corrugated sheets and stretch film, and pick the material for each item.
Fragile items are packed standing, not flat. Heavy things go in small cartons so they do not burst. Every carton is labelled with the room and its contents, and a copy of the list stays with you.
You can book packing on its own, or as part of full household shifting or office shifting.
Material we use
A quick look at the material and method our crew uses for the things people worry about most.
| Item | Material | How we pack it |
|---|---|---|
| Crockery and glass | Packing paper, bubble wrap, dish cartons | Each piece wrapped, plates packed on edge |
| TV and monitors | Foam, bubble wrap, TV carton | Screen protected with foam, packed upright |
| Sofa | Foam, corrugated sheets, stretch film | Arms and legs padded, then fully wrapped |
| Fridge and washing machine | Corrugated roll, foam | Drained and dried a day before, doors taped shut |
| Clothes | Wardrobe cartons, suitcases | Hanging clothes moved on hangers where possible |
| Books and files | Small book cartons | Packed flat, cartons kept light enough to lift |
| Mirrors and glass tops | Foam corners, wooden crate | Crated for long-distance moves |
