A local move is over in a day. A long one means your goods are loaded, driven for days and unloaded by people you may not meet until the other end. Packing that is fine for a drive across town is not enough, so every long move gets extra layers for fragile items and furniture.
Long distance and interstate are not always the same thing. Mumbai to Nagpur is over 700 km without leaving Maharashtra, while Delhi to Gurugram crosses into Haryana in about 30 km. Distance decides the packing, the truck and the transit time; a border adds paperwork.

A dedicated truck is usually at the quicker end of each range. Monsoon weather on ghat roads can add time, and your written quote gives the delivery window for your route. Prices are in the rate card further down.
Goods on the road for days take far more braking, vibration and restacking than on a drive across town. This is what we do differently.
Glass, crockery and electronics get bubble wrap and a second layer before they go into cartons, and the cartons are filled so nothing moves.
Beds, dining tables and large wardrobes are dismantled, the fittings bagged and taped to their piece, and each part wrapped against scratches.
Sofas and mattresses go into stretch film and sheeting, which matters on a route that may run through the monsoon.
Marble tops, large mirrors and artwork can be crated. Tell us about them at the survey so the crate is ready on packing day.
Heavy furniture goes in first and at the bottom, cartons are stacked by weight, and fragile items travel on top where nothing presses on them.
Each carton is numbered and listed on the inventory you sign, so you can count them all at the other end.
Both are closed trucks and both come door to door. The difference is who else is on board.
Trucks crossing state borders can be stopped for checks, so your consignment travels with the right papers. Used personal and household goods are generally exempt from e-way bills, while new or commercial goods may need one.
We prepare the packing list and the delivery documents, and tell you in advance if anything else applies to your move. You get a GST invoice that works for a company relocation claim; our bill claim policy lists what it shows.
If a car or bike will stay in the new state for more than 12 months, it has to be re-registered there, which starts with an NOC from your current RTO. The car shifting page covers the documents for the vehicle itself.

The rate card moves up in bands, so the road distance between the two addresses sets the starting range.
The size of the home and what is in it decide the truck size, the crew and the packing material.
Sharing the truck costs less; having it to yourself costs more and is quicker.
Stairs without a lift, a long walk from where the truck can stop, or a town away from the main highways all add time.
Crates for marble or artwork, and vehicles on a carrier, are priced on top of the household move.
Both are optional. Storage is charged by the month if the new home is not ready.

The move itself is our job. These are worth sorting out on your side before and after moving day.
Change your address on Aadhaar, bank accounts, your gas connection and insurance policies soon after you move.
Keep the RC, insurance and PUC with the vehicle, and start the NOC early if it will stay in the new state beyond a year.
Ask for them early. New schools usually want them at admission.
Book electricity, water, internet and gas at the new address so they work when the goods arrive.
ID, property papers, jewellery and cash stay with you. None of them should travel in the truck.

On our rate card, a move of 1,100 to 2,500 km is ₹18,000 to ₹26,500 for a 1 BHK and ₹28,000 to ₹36,500 for a 2 BHK, before GST. Shorter distances cost less. The final price depends on the volume of goods, the access at both buildings and whether you choose a shared or a dedicated truck, and it is confirmed in your written quote after a survey.
Transit time follows the road distance. A 400 km move is usually delivered the next day, 1,000 km takes about 3 days, and 2,500 km takes 6 to 7 days, counting the packing day. A dedicated truck is quicker than a shared one on the same route.
Used personal and household goods are generally exempt from e-way bills. New goods or commercial consignments may need one. We confirm the documents for your move when we send the quote.

A shared truck costs less and suits smaller homes with flexible dates, because your goods travel with another move on the same route. A dedicated truck costs more but goes directly, so it is faster and better for large homes or a fixed delivery date.
Yes. You get a consignment number when the truck is loaded. Use it on our tracking page, or send it to us on WhatsApp or by phone, and our team tells you where the truck is and when it is due.
Yes. Cars and bikes travel on a carrier, planned on the same schedule as the household goods, though they arrive separately from the household truck.
The goods can go into storage and be delivered when you are ready. Storage is charged by the month, and we deliver from there once you give us a date.
For a move that spends days on the road, we recommend it. It is optional, worked out on the value you declare, and added to your quote so you can decide before the move.
Yes. Share the name and number of the person who will receive them. They should count the cartons against the inventory and note any damage on the receipt before signing.
